A short letter to my mom...

Dear Mom,
I had sushi tonight. It was delicious...especially the spicy tuna with wasabi.
You would have loved it if you would ever try it.
Sometimes I feel bad because you have no idea how great it is and you just keep missing out!
My wish for you is that you will someday try sushi and love it.
In the meantime, feel free to read the book Green Eggs and Ham by Dr.Suess. =)
Love you~ Jody

This sounds like my lecturing my husband at least once a month. Why are people so afraid of sushi. It's so YUMMY!!!

Nope...no sushi for me. I had a hard enough time getting the salmon down last week.

I have to side with you mom on this one Jody. I mean it's raw fish...the only thing that could be worse than fish would be raw fish.

I think I am going to write this same letter to my sister only I will substitute "any type of meat" for "Sushi." :)

Wow. Eating sushi and riding grocery carts within 23 hours. You're crazy, Man!
Just kidding. I sometimes can't resist jumping on the back of the cart either. Sushi on the other hand... I'd rather eat green eggs. An even better Seuss classic, by the way, with a strong pro-life message is "Horton Hears a Who" which repeats over and over: "A person's a person no matter how small."

Hey, I have a very short post up with an inspiring video link and I'd love your (and your reader's) thoughts on it.

well I love sushi jody! It's my favorite treat especially on a relaxed night- pick up some sushi at Whole Foods, pop in a movie, and put your feet up. We have a really great place downtown when I'm feeling up to going out that I get crunchy shrimp at. YUMMY!!

if sushi smells bad-
that's means it's not good!
fresh sushi has no fishy smell- it's so yummy and good for you, too!

Jody...I seriously LOVE you!!! I am not a sushi lover myself but I do love those California rolls...a little cheating, I know. But I LOVE Hummis. My Mother in law hates it. How can you hate Hummis??? Even my 3 year old begs me for it. Hummis and pita bread. Life is sweet. But like you said...I guess life would be boring if we all liked the same things. Then we wouldn't be able to pester others to try what we love!

How can I love it if I spell it wrong??? HUMMUS. Man, I need to go to bed. Geesh.
