I asked Ava, "What do you want to do today?". She answered, "Color Easter eggs!". It's obvious to me, even at their young ages, that my kids will need some sort of therapy when they get older. =)
What are you doing for fun today?

it's my day off and i'm reading a couple blogs, and then off to work in my studio before the kids get home from school!

Omigosh, Jody, I have to laugh - my 8 year old was home with a cold/sore throat yesterday, and when I asked her what she wanted to do, she said "make that gingerbread house kit we never made from last Christmas" At first I thought - no way, I don't want the mess...but you know what? what the heck, I said yes and she had the best two hours. And we have a happy little Christmasy gingerbread house on the kitchen counter, right next to the pumpkins. Good for us, right?
I ask my 2 1/2 year old every morning what he wants to do. The answer is always the same "go Fishin" He learnt how to fish this summer in the U.P. and the kid is addicted! So the conversation usaully goes something like me saying who will bait the hook and he says he will. Then I say who will take the fish off and he say's "let call daddy" Makes me laugh everyday!
We found the perfect solution, Bass Fishing on Play Station!
Have a great day!
Becky
p.s. We miss you at Bible study.
I wish I was coloring Easter Eggs today and NOT working.
Doing a bit of coloring of my own...only it involves plain white paint and a whole lotta trim in the bathroom. Not as fun as Easter eggs! Curious...will you let her color eggs today?
You inspire me to put down the laundry and the cleaning and soak up some good time with my kids. I tend to stay away from the messy crafts and such but I just need to go for it. I quote you and tell your funny stories to my husband and family all the time and you don't even know me. You really have a ministry on this blog!!!
Thanks,
Brittany Mann
I am just breezing thru a few fave blogs I enjoy reading. And working. I love doing things like that to make people ask questions. Going fishing for no reason, just cause my son wanted to. Not even to keep the fish. Or to make way too many tea cakes and then give them away. Just because.
WE bought meet the Robinsons... but being New Englanders.. some of us want to watch the RED SOX.. ( some not being me... I'm gonna read!!!! White Chocolate Moments by Lori Wick!!) Ü
*giggle*
That's great--I think you should totally color Easter eggs today! : )
When I was a kid, I requested that we sing "Away In A Manger" every Sunday. Every.Single.Sunday. Throughout the year--not only at Christmas. We always knew the words when the holiday came around! : )
xoxo.
