It works. =)


Just had to post pics of me wearing the apron that I was sewing in the previous post. Just don't look too closely at the stitching. I'm definitely 'learning' as I go. =)
Anyway, I would like to play around and modify the pattern {again} on my next attempt. Thanks again, Leslie...for making me want to do this! So fun to just see scraps of material turn into something wearable. Wow. I will not gripe about the price of sewn clothing for awhile now. Especially of the items have buttons or zippers. =)
And with that, I am off to whip up some lemon bars...ala my apron, of course! Who knows? I may have to open an Etsy shoppe soon.

the red velvet art girlies are doing scrap kits AND sewing kits. sounds like some sort of apron for supplies (opposed to baking/cooking) will be up for sale mid-month.
