How's that for a little ba-humbug for ya?! I am blogging live from Wyndham's hospital room where I am spending the night with her as she gets pumped with IV fluids. Not exactly how I like to spend my week or so before Christmas. Or anytime for that matter.
But, I've got an hour of free wireless, so I am counting my blessings in spite of this not-so-fun situation.
I guess I'm not so sure what to blog about. You can now add Wyndham to your prayer list and keep the prayers coming for the Katt family. One nice Nitty.Gritty. fan emailed me about doing a 'paper crane' prayer thing for Jaymun and I'd like to do something like that, but it's a little tough for me at this point in time. SO, I will just ask for your concern, thoughts love and prayers. As for Wyndham, I'm hoping she will bounce back and be discharged by tomorrow...but we will just have to wait and see. And of course, I will do what I can to keep you posted.
I hope that some of you will go out and do some window Christmas shopping for me, and I hope that I will be back to realizing a little bit more of the Christmas season in the comforts of my own home soon.
Thanks in advance for your words of comfort and care. They mean a lot. Even to seasoned hospital pros like Wyndham and me.

Sorry to hear that Wyndham is under the weather. Prayers for a quick recovery and that you'll both be home soon.
Why is this suppose to be the happiest time of the year, and everyone is sick. Our home is filled with sickness too.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
Jody, please know that I will add Wyndham to my thoughts & prayers. Blessings on your family.
Chip called us about Wyndham. She is such a little trouper! And so are her parents.
Now that my children are raised and I don't have to worry about the stomach flu at Christmas, I just have to deal with my Christmas tree falling over. Yup. Last evening, with all of the hundreds of ornaments, it just fell over. After my hysterical weeping, I found I had not lost any of my collector ornaments. Just a few icicles and the less expensive. But what a mess. I thought you might like to tell the children about that so they can giggle together. Yes, I am laughing today, almost.
Love to Wyndham, and everyone else.
poor Wyndham-baby!!! prayers that she does bounce back quick, and that neither you nor Chip get it!
Jody,
You didn't say, specifically, but I am presuming Wyndham was merely dehydrated from the flu bug that hit your house ( & kids) ?? Is that the reason for her hospital stay & the need for IV fluids ?
You are all in my prayers. I hope you are able to return home today.
