I call this one "Nitty in Pink".

I guess it's not the worst thing a kid has had to do in life, but I sort of feel badly about 'making' Brock and Bella take a bunch of pictures of me the other day. This is one that I got when it was Bella's turn. She actually started having fun and kept making up lines for me to say before she would snap my picture. She'd hold the camera up and wait until I repeated her word or phrase, "Say banana" or "Say funny 1-2-3". I just might have a photographer in the making.
I reviewed my pictures, and then played with this one a bit. I'm supposed to submit a colored headshot for my CK scrapbooking contest. So, my big decision is whether or not to spend some money on a "real photo shoot", or just keep giving my kids more candy bars for their time and effort.
In the meantime, I have some of your addresses on file in my inbox from previous posts...I might just autograph some pictures and randomly mail them out. You could stick them on your fridge and wish me luck everytime you look at me. Or as my sister told me, some of you might just click and save this photo as your new computer screensaver. I know some of you are Nitty.Gritty. fans to the end!

Before I even read your post I looked at the picture and thought "I love that pink picture I wonder where she had that done!?" Then to read that Bella did it, wow very impressive! I agree with the others, keep the pink picture. You look adorable in it! =)Ok, so if I email you my address you will randomly pick me for the autographed photo right? I mean who wouldn't want one of our "future president!?" =)
God bless you and yours...

i love this picture! and i don't think you would or could look any happier than you do looking at your sweet ones! stick with the candy bar bribery, cheaper than a babysitter and photographer, and they take great photos to boot!

Cute picture! Bella did a great job. I think she earned a king size candy bar. I think you should use this one.

Keep it!!!! I think the kids did a great job... When I opened your blog today I thought to myself that is a nice pic of Jody, wonder who took it? Then when I read that Bella took it I was seriously impressed.... Way to go Bella, looks like more candy bars for you :) I don't think a profesional would be worth the $$ when you have a little photographer at home.

I concur with the majority!!! Keep this one!! Plus give Bella the copyright credit or whatever its called with photography!!!! She will never forget it if she took THE photo of Mom that led to her win :)

Using a picture taken by your own child is so much more in the spirit of scrapbooking and "creating keepsakes" than going to a professional. And besides, it's a great photo!!

Bella did a great job! Keep her as your photographer. Candy bars are a way cheap way to get the job done. Wishing you lots of good luck and sending you lots of prayers. Think about you everyday. mary h.
