Where did that time go?

Look who's six months old today and ready to drive. Crew just seems to have grown up to this point in the blink of an eye- seriously! Maybe it's just me, but it seems that he went from newborn to teether faster than any of my other five kids did. I have been so conscious and aware of how quickly the first months go and they still seem to have flown by too soon.
I will say that he has been one of our best babies. He is so easy-going; whether there is lots of noise or activity going on around him, or if he's just getting doted on by me and/or Ava. =) He has shown a sudden interest in laptops, remote controls, cell phones, and ice cold cups of water. He had his first (tiny nibble!) of sweet cream ice cream last night and he loved it. I don't blame him for wanting to grow up and do everything he sees his siblings doing.
But I sort of hope he's happy taking his time.

He is SO sweet! I'm so glad that he's as loved and cherished as he is. :)

Such a little doll. We gave our 6 month old a taste of blue jello while at a resteraunt and she loved it, although her blue drool was concerning afterwards. So much for her organic diet yesterday! :)

Crew really is TOO cute with those huge eyes!
My son just turned 1 yr old on March 1st and I second your thoughts. It goes WAY too fast even when you're trying to savor every moment. My son desperately wants to grow up and follow his 3 year old sissy around!
lol about the ice cream. My daughter wasn't given any sugar until after her 1st bday but my son, the second child! got to ignore that rule! He has 8 teeth and has had them since he was 7 months old and he decided he needs to use them all the time! Forget baby food! He will not touch the stuff...give him hamburgers, ice cream and he's happy! :-)

I also had a baby last fall. He will be six months old on April 1st. He is my fourth...I too have been wondering where the heck the time has gone? It seems like yesterday that I was just waiting to deliver him. It goes by too quickly.
I love your blog by the way!
