That would be too easy...

I've figured it out. My life would be easier if I took fewer pictures; I would have more time in my schedule to do other things. But that's not happening anytime soon. =) The kids love self-portraits almost as much as I do- as you can see in the above photos.
I have also found hats and headbands to be my friend on days that I don't get around to doing my makeup and scrunching hair product in my hair. If I remember correctly, I've done similar personal maintenance routines with all my other babies too. Only I used to wear my hair in ponytails...it was so easy.
My final 'easy thought' is one that came about after I watched portions of the Vice Presidential debate last night. Crew has a baby gown with the word 'cozy' printed on the front of it. Whenever Ava sees it on him, she says, "awwwe, he's cozy!". Now, I'm thinking our elected officials might adopt a similar strategy and start wearing clothing with statements on them just to take some of the guesswork out of the voting we all have to do in just a month or so. I would love to just be able to glance at a candidate and see them sporting a shirt that reads, "telling the truth" or "Honest" or even "I might raise taxes, but I mean well in the end". It would be so much easier. Right?! =)

Ok, I swear I'm not saying this to be a suck up, but you look TOO GOOD to have a newborn in the house!!! But you all do look appropriately happy.

And, for the record, you'd have a lot of angry commenters of you suddenly chose housework over photos. I'm just sayin'...

Yeah, unfortunately Palin keeps wearing the shirt that says "I'm with Stupid" and the arrow points to McCain.

Beautiful family you have there.

What a wonderful family story! Although my 5 children are all grown now, your photos brought back many great memories! Thanks for sharing! I do not know even where I found your blog, but I am glad that I did.
