Work and play-
Some of you have wondered how Wyndham is doing at home and school since her medical concerns zapped her body and energy so severly a few months ago. I took a couple of pictures of her at school the other day when Bella had her 'pretend birthday' and she was more than happy to pose for the photos. She did that one with her reading book all by herself. She is so proud to be able to 'be normal' like the other kids now and even ran a lap around the playground with her class at recess today. It is so nice for me to see her personality back as well as her physical capabilities too. We're very thankful that she seems to be doing fine with her current anti-seizure medication and look forward to a summer where she grows and plays and has fun just like the rest of our kids.
I had to post a picture of Brock and Chip because they had the chance to hang out and golf together this weekend too. The weather has been just about perfect here and as you can see, the grass is greening up nicely. My perfect temps actually happen to be even a bit warmer than what we've had so far- I like it right about 78-82 degrees F...which I get from my mom. =)
So, what's your favorite temp...I'll see if I really am in the minority or not.

I love the temps in the upper-60s and low 70s! I'm in Michigan too and the weather we've been having in GR has been wonderful! The windows are open, the birds are singing, the flowers are blooming...I love spring! Especially when it comes after such a hard winter. Although, if I'm going to the beach, I prefer it in the 80s.
I'm so glad your daughter is doing well. we lost our sweety to a horrible seizure disorder just recently. Your blog has been just one of the many ways that God is getting me through. Thank you for keeping it real.
75-80. I suspect it's from all those years of lifeguarding. prefer 85 when we are at the pool ~ which is most of the summer!. 75 and breezy at night. sitting in the yard or playing badminton or Bocce ball. Yeah.
112...okay, not my favorite but definitely our high in the summer. "But it's a dry heat!" (The phrase used by natives to console ourselves when it's that hot.) And we do love the fact that so many flee during the summer and we can have the place to ourselves for a while.
Great news about Wyndham...a summer to play and just BE is an awesome gift.
YAY...I'm glad that Wyndham ran around the playground today and that her energy is coming back... :)
I am a warm weather girl...80+ degrees for me. :) And, it's almost there today....
Have a blessed day!
Hillary.
i love the temps like you do. upper 70s to low 80s. perfection for a cold natured girl like me. :) hope you are feeling well and so glad Wyndam is doing better.
That's wonderful to hear about Wyndham. She is beaming joy in those pictures :-)
I am right there with you at 75, sunny and low humidity. This has been the best spring ever after a long cold winter.
My husband calls me his 72 degree girl. Inside or out that's what I like. Didn't have much of a winter this year in southern OK. Humidity today was off the charts. Seems like the humidity followed us from central IL. When we first moved here there didn't seem to be much. By July I'll be in the house or at work (due to the consistent 100 temps).
hmmm, perfect temp for me would be 65 and sunny. its supposed to hit 90 on thursday though, so i don't expect to see that 65 again until december!
60-70 is perfect for me.
I love the hot days of summer 75-80
No higher than 70 - preferably 65.

Wyndham looks so happy!
i love under 70 degrees.
sweater weather is great!
Oh, I am all about the warm weather!!! 80s are great with me. We live in Florida now, so that's no problem! ;-) Of course, after being in the UK for a couple of years...80 feels MUCH hotter than it used to!
Glad to hear your sweet girl is doing better, thanks for letting us know! Have a great week! ~J
I am so proud of you Wyndham! Keep up the good work:)
xoxo
My favorite temps are between 70 and 76 degrees! Not hot and not cold = just right for me!
I came across your blog tonight...I see now why the description next to the link simply read - inspiration.
I feel blessed to be allowed this glimpse into your life. Thank you for living your faith out LOUD and boldly sharing it here.
Being a native Michigander, I have ALWAYS loved the 'warmer' days, 80 - 85 (not so much when the humidity is up). I am now located in Arizona, following God's call on our family, and I still like it hot. In fact, today was 113 or so. It is perfect weather for swimming several times a day! The saying is true that it is a dry heat...that makes all the difference (if you ask me).
Blessings,
Kim
