Scrappin' and packin'...

I am in the middle of packing suitcases for myself and my kiddos as we prepare for our trip home to Minnesota tomorrow. I have been busy scrapping {CandyTown!!}- the latest page was one I did for my parents- who I get to spend time with for the next almost 2 weeks. I am so happy about that!
I owe lots of you emails and thanks for little gifts and goodies that have been sent my way the past couple of weeks. Cute stuff! I promise to get caught up on my correspondance as soon as I can...I just can't guarantee when that will be. =)
I am looking forward to this family time/vacation summer adventure we will be on, and I'm sure I'll have some pictures of my happy kids to share with you soon. There's nothing like making summer memories. I hope you're making some fantastic ones of your own!

Jody -
I pray you and your family have safe travels here to Minnesota. While traveling myself this weekend, you and your beautiful family were in my prayers as the 29th came.
Your spirit is amazing!
Have a fabulous vacation!

It's so HOT here in Minnesota right now! Have a safe trip here though! Did you grow up here? I live in Minneapolis, but grew up in WI. I love it here though and have been here for almost ten years. But yeah, it's HOT, so you'll have to find a pool and air conditioning. :-) Have a safe trip.

I grew up in WI, too, like Karin. I lived in Hudson, then when married lived in Little Canada, MN and Oakdale, working for Victoria's Secret (oh, the good old days!).

Where in MN will you be? Enjoy the sweet corn! It's early this year...we had wonderful corn when we were with my inlaws in Hudson (Yep, high school sweethearts!) a week ago.

Safe travel!

Have tons of fun in MN, Jody! Stop in at Caribou for me, will ya? Or Bruegger's, or something! :-) Ahh...so many memories of the Cities. Hope you have a great time, and we'll be in touch! Have been praying for you and will continue.

Hi jody,

Yep, it's hot here, how long are you going to be around? I am heading to Wisconsin Dells with the kiddos and the husband but am free most of the time. I work Tues and Weds, maybe we can connect up.
Saw your Mom and Dad at Wayne Scheels funeral, sat and talked right there by Grandma and Grandpa. You should bring the kids up to that area and show them there history.
On a side note, Justin is leaving for Iraq tomorrow so if you could maybe say a few extra prayers of safety for him and ask for blessings on all of us as we make it through this time, that would help.
Sorry so long, you know how to call me,
Take care and safe travels
Jennifer(your cousin)
